Neighbourhood Houses Collective Agreement 2016

The manager is responsible for the operation, management and development of the community house with the Governance Committee and ensures that the organization operates in accordance with the strategic decisions of the committee, service agreements with promotional organizations and current legislation. Neighbourhood Houses Victoria is the high-level body of community homes throughout the state and is committed to maintaining strong and productive relationships with all our members. The number of members is divided equally between metropolitan neighbourhood houses and rural/regional community houses. In 2016, about 188,700 Victorians visited their local neighborhood homes in an average week. The 1st The Mobile Long Service Leave Scheme, introduced on 1 July 2019, guarantees that workers can switch from one employer to another without losing their acquired rights, provided they remain in the areas of contract cleaning, security or municipal services. Convenience homes are covered by this mandatory system. The system does not replace existing long-service vacation plans, but sits next to them. All neighbourhood houses that have signed a collective agreement for the local residential sector must comply with the terms of this contract. Convenience houses which are not signed in a collective agreement for the local residential sector or which, where appropriate, are covered by the agreement of their employer/administrative organisation, are governed by the procurement system. The salary is in accordance with the collective agreement 2016 neighborhood houses and ACE centers. This position is full-time with a trial period of 6 months. The salary will be in line with the NHACE collective agreement (SCHCADS Award) The neighborhood and learning center sector agreements of 2007 and 2008 will continue to apply to any organization that has been signed with them until the organization signs a new agreement. This means that the defendants to the 2007 or 2008 agreement, who did not sign the NHACE collective agreement in 2010 or 2016, remain bound by the previous contract.

This position is paid to neighbourhood House Employees Class III (Translating to SCHCADS (SACS) level 7. Some agreements, including proximity agreements, may have more generous provisions than the legal minimum, but cannot be covered by the standards established by law. The 2010 collective agreement on neighbourhood houses and popular universities remains applicable to signatories who have not signed the 2016 or 2018 agreements. We are looking for a Chief Executive to lead this organization in an important period of change.
